[on the first day of christmas, a spaceship crashed into the ice. many years later an alien came by and found it.]

"Der ruft gleich seinen Freund herbei und alle beide staunen. 'Was für ein kurioser Fund', hört man die beiden raunen."
[said alien called for his friend and both if them stared in wonder at their curious discovery.]

"'Es ist ein alter Erdenbrauch.', ein dritten Wesen spricht. 'Man geht zum Sterben raus ins Eis und dekoriert mit Licht'".
['it's an old earth custom, a third alien explains. 'they go out to die and mummify themselves in the snow and decorate the site festively.]
