yes, i know, it's been a while (due to some private reasons i explained in one or two forums).
i wouldn't call that a "I AM BACK", it rather stands for "every few days i worked on this little nemesis to not loose my skills". drawing this i remembered why i dislike portraying classically beautiful people. place just one feature one MILLIMETER out of its exact proportion and the whole face will look like quasimodo. but it gave me the chance to try out the grid technique i never used before. it bored me to death while working on the face, but was helpful when dealing with all the folds in his shirt. i'm not exactly a JB/TW fan (sorry john), it was done for a german DW/TW forum, especially one friend and JB-devotee i can count on to point out every single mistake i made. but it's done, so live with it!  disclaimer: john barrowman belongs to himself, doctor who/torchwood to the BBC and this drawing to me. do not use this drawing without my written consent. |
