about 1.5 hrs, ikea pencil, some digital refining.
i was addicted to his voice on 'little britain' before i saw a single episode of him wearing The Scarf.
still i've been reluctant to draw him. it's something i have put off almost as long as i wanted to try it. his face intimidates me, simply because it is such a highly unique profile. you see every single wrong pencil stroke at the first glance. and there are quite a lot of it. but i'm satisfied with it, which is what i aimed for.
truly coincidental (i really didn't know then): the day this was posted also marked tom's 75th birthday. all the best to you, scary man!

I think it's good. You've shown us an older, more tired Doctor, one who looks forward to regeneration. Regeneration is just the right thing to put some pep back in a Time Lord's step.
